Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 August 2026
1. Acceptance
By using this website or the Skalda Studio software (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
Skalda Studio is desktop software that assists a creator in producing videos from the creator's own footage and in publishing creator-approved content to the creator's own social media accounts. The Service is currently in active development and provided on an early-access basis.
3. Your content and your responsibility
- You retain all rights to the footage you bring and the videos the Service helps you produce.
- You are responsible for the content you approve and publish — for its accuracy and legality, and for holding the necessary rights to all footage, music, and images it contains.
- Publishing through the Service must comply with the terms of the destination platforms, including the YouTube Terms of Service and Meta's platform terms.
4. Accounts you connect
You may only connect accounts that you own or are authorized to operate. Nothing is published without your explicit per-item approval. You may disconnect an account at any time; see the privacy policy for revocation and deletion.
5. As-is, no warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated output can contain errors; reviewing content before approving it is part of the intended use of the Service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skalda Studio and its maker are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including platform actions taken on content you chose to publish.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted at this address with an updated date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
